This is a calculated fee that developers can pay as an option to hand over agreed maintenance requirements over to Council to manage. Developers are encouraged to consult with Councils Team Leader: Parks Maintenance to obtain approval for this handover method prior to Development Works Approval.
 
Application for this fee shall be made on form MF1 Maintenance Fee Form.
 

QA-7.7.1   Fee Period

The minimum fee period for a Landscaping: Maintenance Handover Fee is 12 months from the date of fee agreement. 
 

QA-7.7.2   Fee Value

Please refer to QA-7 Appendix C for calculation of the Landscaping: Maintenance Works Handover Fee value.
 
All applications include a non-refundable fee for administration of the application. The administration fee value is listed within Councils Fees and Charges Manual and shall be added to the fees for s224.  
 

QA-7.7.3   Deliverables

The applicant shall provide:
  1. A complete application on MF1 Maintenance Fee Form.
  2. A complete schedule of works and calculation on MF2 Maintenance Fee Form - Schedule of Works.
  3. Copies of any pre-agreement correspondence with Council made prior to the application.
  4. Any other information requested by Council to assist with the processing of the fee application.
All deliverables shall be provided to the Council Development Engineer assigned to the project.
