GEN-3.7 WBOPDC Level of Service

Local Authorities in general will have a defined Level of Service Policy or detail how levels of service with be managed within discipline based policies. A Level of Service Policy typically defines how Local Authorities will set and describe levels of service and may include the following policy statements:

1. In the interests of fairness and equity the Local Authority will generally seek to adopt city-wide levels of service.
2. In certain circumstances, the Local Authority may agree to different levels of service in different parts of the City or District. Circumstances where this may occur include all or parts of:
   1. Comprehensive development areas.
   2. Special character areas.
   3. Intensification areas.
3. The Local Authority may define maximum levels of service.
