- Wastewater and Stormwater
The permissible deviation of the alignment and gradient of culverts and pipelines shall be lesser of + 5% of the nominal diameter of the pipe or + 20mm from a straight line between the inverts of successive manholes, with all such deviations being gradual. Minimum grades shall be attained. There shall be no steps at the junctions between successive pipes and no point in the pipeline or culvert shall be lower than any downstream point.
- Water Supply
All works shall be constructed within the following tolerances:
Horizontal: +/- 100mm.
Vertical: +/- 50mm.
Where these tolerances are unable to be met, the Engineer shall be notified. The Engineer shall liaise with Council and instruct any alternative tolerances.
