The IDC contains methods and outcomes based on industry collaboration, research, testing and/or consultation. The application for IDC Departure process:

  1. Ensures appropriate information is submitted so Council can make an informed decision.
  2. Provides clarity to both the Applicant and Council on the criteria used for assessing departures.
  3. Enables consistency and visibility of decision-making.
