A pipeline is deemed to have failed when one of the thresholds as detailed in Tables 4-5 and/or 4-6 of the New Zealand Pipe Inspection Manual Third Edition are exceeded.
These failures thresholds are:
Peak Score of 2 and a Mean Score of 0.5.
Peak Score of 3 and a Mean Score of 0.5.
These values equate to a grading of excellent in the New Zealand Pipe Inspection Manual Third Edition.
