Development works are subject to risks associated with natural and man-made hazards, infrastructure development and off-site effects. To ensure those risks are defined, investigated, evaluated, designed for and appropriately constructed, certain information is required by Council at three key phases in the development process. These phases are:
- QA-1 Resource Consent Application Requirements.
- QA-3 Development Works Approval
- QA-5 Final Sign-Off (s224) Application Requirements.
At the time of Resource Consent application, Council requires a Development Evaluation Report to be compiled and submitted for all developments.
