If not known at the time of Development Works Approval, once a Contractor has been appointed to undertake the proposed development works, and prior to commencement of construction of the development works, the Consent Holder's Representative shall provide to Council the name of the Contractor and re-confirm the level of supervision that the Consent Holder's Representative will utilise to supervise the development works.
Where the Consent Holder/Consent Holder's Representative proposes to appoint a Contractor who, in Council’s experience, possesses a poor track record for quality workmanship and/or non-compliance with the required construction standards, then Council may:
- Require that a higher level of supervision is required during the development works construction to ensure that the assets being constructed are of the standard required.
- Decline to accept assets to vest constructed by that Contractor.
