Depending on the size and type of works, As-Built information shall be submitted as either:
- QA-6.4.1 Hardcopy: Measurement Produced.
- QA-6.4.2 Electronic: Survey and Software Produced.
QA-6.4.1 Hardcopy: Measurement Produced
The following shall apply:
- This method is applicable to:
- Subdivision Development Works Type 1 Asset Vesting Process (i.e. up to 3 independent dwelling units): Where only standard service connections are to be vested.
- Council Maintenance Works: Where only standard service connections are constructed.
- Service Connection Works both via Building Consent and non-Building Consent approval processes.
- Typically this would only be accepted for infrastructure where a Reduced Level (RL) is not required, the infrastructure is of minor risk and there are only a small number of assets.
- This information can be tidily hand drawn with offsets to known boundaries given as locators.
- Asset information and attributes shall be provided as detailed in Councils guideline Electronic As-Builts and Infrastructure Asset Attributes.
- This information shall be supplied in .pdf file format.
- Council may request hardcopy paper copies where necessary. In general As-Built plans shall be supplied on A3 paper size. However, if required for clarity, larger paper sizes may be requested by Council.
Confirmation from Councils Team Leader: Asset Information is required before providing As-Built information by this method.
QA-6.4.2 Electronic: Survey and Software Produced
The following shall apply:
- This method is applicable to:
- Subdivision Development Works Type 1 Asset Vesting Process (i.e. up to 3 independent dwelling units): Where more than just standard service connections are to be vested.
- Subdivision Development Works Type 2 Asset Vesting Process (i.e. Large scale subdivision, land use and 4 or more independent dwelling units).
- Council Capital Works.
- Council Maintenance Works: Where more than just standard service connections are constructed
- Any other works not mentioned above.
- Infrastructure shall be cadastral surveyed and this data processed and provided in accordance with acceptable software outputs.
- Asset information and attributes shall be provided as detailed in Councils guideline Electronic As-Builts and Infrastructure Asset Attributes.
- This information shall be supplied in .pdf file format.
- Council may request hardcopy paper copies where necessary. In general As-Built plans shall be supplied on A3 paper size. However, if required for clarity, larger paper sizes may be requested by Council.
